2023 Tesla Model Y price and specs, delivery times confirmed

The Model Y SUV, which has been widely awaited, has officially been priced for Australia.

The rear-wheel-drive Model Y will start at $68,900 before on-road fees

While the Model Y Performance will cost $98,689 before on-roads.

At launch, there is no all-wheel-drive Long Range variant available in Australia.

The rear-wheel-drive type is scheduled to be the first to be delivered between August and November.

The Performance's planned delivery date is simply "late 2022" according to the Tesla Australia configurator.

The Polestar 2 Long Range Single Motor starts at $4000 more than the Model 3 sedan and $5000 more than the Model 3 sedan.

It costs $1000 more than the Kia EV6 Air, but it's $3000 less than the Hyundai Ioniq 5.
