WWE Raw results, recap, grades: Becky Lynch gets final pre-Hell in a Cell laugh on Asuka and Bianca Belair

WWE used Raw on Monday night to finalise "the red brand" ahead of Sunday's Hell in a Cell event.

A match between Raw women's champion Bianca Belair and Asuka was included.

At Hell in a Cell, Belair, Asuka, and Becky Lynch will face off in a triple threat match for Belair's title.

Belair defeated Asuka, but it was Lynch's post-match attack that was the highlight of the programme.

Lynch left both Asuka and Belair down to send a final message to both ladies before of their title match on Sunday night.

Becky Lynch opened the event with an in-ring promo, claiming that she handed Asuka the Raw women's championship when she stepped away due to her pregnancy, and that Asuka became a "selfish monster" as a result.

Asuka was the first to interrupt, followed by Bianca Belair, before a three-way brawl erupted, resulting with Asuka and Belair bouncing Lynch out of the ring.

Asuka is defeated by Bianca Belair through pinfall with a reversal into a pin. Following the show-opening brawl, both women went all-out until Belair was able to reverse an Asuka pin into one of her own.

Lynch struck the second after the match had completed, taking out both women in the post-match melee.

There hasn't been much progress in any of the show's stories, just a lot of buildup, including this and the feud between Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.

It's not quite fascinating or earth-shattering, but at least attention is being paid to the major event on Sunday.
