Doctor Strange 2 streaming on Disney+ has an Easter Egg for 2023 X-Men Reboot

Marvel's latest theatrical release, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is currently streaming on Disney+.

You will get to see Dr. Strange and America Chavez journey between alternate realities and exploring the MCU's Multiverse in the film.

During their interdimensional adventure in many alternate realities, they end up landing on Earth-838.

On Earth-838, Strange and Chavez are captured by the a team of superheroes called Illuminati, who think that Strange might be dangerous for the fate of their world.

The team Illuminati include Reed Richards of Fantastic Four, Inhuman King Black Bolt, and Professor Charles Xavier who you have seen as a mentor of mutants known as the X-Men.

But a very angry Wanda kills all the Illuminati, except one.

But lets come back to professor Xavier for a second, when his scene was introduced a rendition of the X-Men: The Animated Series theme is heard.

For those who don't know, let know that Marvel Studios now owns the rights for X-Men films, which sets a stage for a rebooted X-Men film in the MCU universe.

And eventually Marvel Studios is working on an animated series of X-Men that is a continuation of the original X-Men cartoon from the 1990s.

It is titled X-Men '97 and it is the one which has connection to Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness.

The theme music playing when Sir Patrick Stewart's Prof. Xavier was introduced was actualy theme song for the upcoming animated X-Men according to the official closed captions provided by Disney+, it's meant as a bit of an Easter egg.
