Idaho’s Black communities celebrate Juneteenth with joy, food, dance and community

This weekend, the city of Boise was not the only one in Idaho to celebrate Juneteenth.

Holiday celebrations were held all around the state, including in Twin Falls and Lapwai.

Juneteenth is a celebration of Black delight for people all over the world.

Organizers made a point of encouraging guests to stay hydrated throughout the event.
