Amber Heard’s sister says: Johnny Depp Repeatedly Hit Amber Heard in the Face

Amber Heard’s sister testified Wednesday that she found herself in the middle of fights — literally and figuratively — between her sister and Johnny Depp during their troubled relationship.

Amber Heard’s younger sister Whitney Henriquez testified Wednesday that Johnny Depp once hit her and called her a “whore” during a blowout fight.

Recalling the alleged events of March 23, 2015, Henriquez said she awoke in the middle of the night in the pair’s Los Angeles pad to Heard in her room saying, “Can you believe he’s cheating on me?”

Henriquez testified the fight occurred in March 2015 — a month after Depp and Heard’s wedding — when Heard found evidence that Depp had already had an extramarital affair. Henriquez recounted that an inebriated Depp blamed Heard for forcing him into the extramarital encounter.

At one point, she said, she was caught between Depp and Heard as he charged up a staircase to confront Heard. Henriquez said she was struck in the back, and Heard became enraged and “landed one” on Depp, with Henriquez stuck between the two.

Henriquez, 34, told the jury in Fairfax, Virginia, that Heard was forced to step in and tell Depp, “Don’t hit my f—ing sister.”

She also shed light on the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star’s alleged controlling behavior, testifying that he managed her sister’s phone, medication and wardrobe.

One of Depp’s bodyguards intervened and broke up the fight but “by that time Johnny had already grabbed Amber by the hair with one hand and was whacking her repeatedly in the face with the other,” Henriquez said.

It was the only time, Henriquez said, that she personally witnessed a physical assault. But she said she saw the aftermath of other fights, including bruises on Heard.

She said she had the nickname “marriage counselor” for her frequent efforts to mediate arguments between Heard and Depp.

“She didn’t have a lot of self-preservation,” Pennington said. “I was worried for her safety — that he might accidentally do something that was worse than what he ever intended.”
