Liam Payne Dislikes Zayn Malik for 'Many Reasons,' Says 'I Don't Agree With Any of His Actions'

Liam Payne opens up about his former One Direction bandmate Zayn Malik. The 28-year-old appeared on the Impaulsive with Logan Paul podcast. Zayn left the boy band in 2015, a year before they announced their indefinite hiatus.

Zayn came up when Logan was discussing a 2020 feud that his brother, Jake Paul, had with the "Pillowtalk" singer in Las Vegas.

Amid social media back-and-forth, Zayn's then-girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, chimed in on Twitter, calling Jake "irrelevant" and Zayn "a respectful king."

He says she was referring to Zayn Malik, who allegedly shoved her mother into a dresser and called her a "f**king Dutch slut" during an altercation.

He was also ordered to complete anger management classes and domestic violence classes.

The singer said his parents were "overly supportive" to the One Direction singer.

"You can always look at the man for where he is and say, 'Oh yeah, whatever, that guy's a d**k," he said. "But at the end of the day, once you're understanding what he's been through to get to that point -- and whether or not he wanted to be there."

Liam added that he himself is "so misunderstood," so he "can't sit here and d**k on [Zayn] because of whatever."

I can't commend some of the things that he's done. I can't be on his side for that, Liam says of President-elect Donald Trump.

Liam Payne has revealed that he and his former bandmate Zayn Malik came "very close" to fighting during their time in One Direction. The pair were part of the boy band with Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, and Niall Horan.

"There was one point backstage where there was a dispute and one person in particular threw me up a wall," Liam alleged. "So I told him, 'If you don't take those hands off, there's a good chance you'll never use them again.'"
