Stephen Curry was chosen as MVP in NBA Finals
The only trophy that Four-time NBA champion Stephen Curry has not won yet was MVP trophy in any final match of NBA.
Finally, his trophy box seems to be complete with every trophy as he won the MVP trophy in the final game for his stellar performance last night.
For Curry, Game 6 was a game that represents his legacy as a point guard.
The NBA's star 3-point shooter now has four trophy, two league MVPs, two scoring titles, one Finals MVP, and one All-Star Game MVP.
Because of his extraordinary performance which won him NBA Finals MVP award, the Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics in Game 6 at TD Garden to win their fourth title in eight seasons.
In a close game at TD Garden, Curry scored 34 points to lead the Warriors to an impressive victory.
He finished the finals averaging 31.2 points per game.
He is now only the fifth player to win multiple NBA MVPs, a Finals MVP and a scoring title.
Before him Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Wilt Chamberlain had already achieved that feat.
Curry placed himself with the giants by hitting six 3-pointers on Thursday, three coming in the third quarter.
Now people can argue about where Curry ranks among the legends of the game and if he is in top-10 player of all time and one of the greatest point guards of all time.
