Western Conference Finals have been scheduled.

The Colorado Avalanche's Western Conference Finals with the Edmonton Oilers have been scheduled.

The Colorado Avalanche and the Edmonton Oilers will square off in the first game of the Western Conference playoffs on Tuesday night at Ball Arena.

It's the first time in 20 years that Colorado has advanced this far in the NHL Playoffs.

Game 1 of the series is scheduled for 6 p.m. in Denver.

Tickets are available for purchase at Ticketmaster.com.

Game 2 will be held in Denver on Thursday at 6 p.m.

"We can't wait," the editors of the Ball Arena Facebook page said following Friday night's 3-2 victory in St. Louis.

For Games 3 and 4, the series moves to Canada. They will both begin at 6 p.m. and take place on June 4 and 6 at Rogers Place in Edmonton.

TNT will broadcast the first four games.

Games 5-7, if necessary, will be held on June 8, 10, and 12.

During the regular season, the Avalanche and the Oilers met three times. The Avalanche won the first two games but fell short in the third on April 22.
